Finally, we're off to the USCIS!

This past Friday our social worker met me in the mall parking lot after I got off work to give me our home-study!  Did you hear that?  WE HAVE OUR HOME-STUDY IN HAND!  This is big news!  Gosh it feels so great to say those words.  Can you just picture the huge smiles on our faces right now?  Trust me, they are huge :)

So what now?  Well Saturday morning, we went to the post office and mailed our I-600A form to the USCIS in Texas.  Now we just wait for a fingerprinting appointment, and then for our official okay from the US government.  This should all take 4-8 weeks (we're hoping more on the end of 4).  After that, we'll officially be on the waiting list counting down the days until we see our son's face for the first time - gosh that will be such a wonderful day.  We're coming sweet boy!
