On My Heart as of Late

I will lead blind Israel down a new path,
guiding them along an unfamiliar way.
I will brighten the darkness before them
and smooth out the road ahead of them.
Yes, I will indeed do these things;
I will not forsake them.

-Isaiah 42:16

Trusting God with a future I can't see has been such a journey for me.  A journey from fear and uncertainty, to one that has truly set me free.

Freedom from worrying that I need to control everything.  Freedom from thinking if I just do something better or different I'll get the outcome I think is best.  Freedom from thinking time is being wasted.

Not one moment of time waiting and learning to trust is wasted.  Not one.

This time has given me the freedom to learn to trust the One who has been guiding me the entire way.  To believe the One who says, "I am enough for you".  To rest in the peace He gives in knowing He's got my story beautifully written; better than I could ever plan or imagine for myself.  To know the One whose love for me is crazy undeserving and wonderfully unfathomable.
