13 months, 5 months

Today we've been waiting on the official waiting list for 5 months.  It's been 13 months since we started the paperwork.  It's funny to me that we assumed we'd have a child by this time when we first started.  Sometimes I think it's God's grace that doesn't allow us to see the future, because then how could we learn to trust Him?

I still have peace during the wait.  Don't get me wrong, I would love to have my little man home or just see his face, but I am confident that will happen in time.  HIS time.

I still have a lot to process about my time at the Created for Care conference from the end of January.  It was so amazing.  Life has been a little bit crazy since then, and I just haven't been inspired to write much either.  This week is busy working and planning a baby shower I'm hosting Friday night for a friend and her husband.  Don't give up on me yet though.  I will crank out some posts in the near future.

So here's to 5 months down, ??? more to go.  We will wait as long as it takes for this special little one.  He is going to be more than worth it.
