Connections and Unexpected Blessings

When we started this adoption journey 11 months ago, I never guessed the blessings I would encounter by connecting with others who also hold adoption close to their hearts.  It has been so wonderful to meet and talk with these people, even if it's only via internet, and to share in other's journeys.

One of these connections was a recent comment on my blog.  After heading over and reading her blog, Letters to Little Man, I was so very touched by this sweet mamma's heart and huge love for her son.  Go on over and check out her story and the blog she wrote mentioning us here!

I have an entire tab on my browser just for adoption blogs.  I absolutely love reading them and seeing the joy of families becoming whole.  Adoption isn't easy, but it's painfully beautiful and so worth it.  It's encouraging to share in each other's journeys, and in doing so, it gives me hope that one day it will be us standing in an airport, surrounded by family and friends holding signs and balloons, welcoming our boy home.
